AFCC's Advocacy
The Alternative Fuels & Chemicals Coalition (AFCC) focuses its advocacy on the following activities:
-
Ensuring (and, when possible, increasing) the funding levels for federal programs that stimulate innovation and support the bioeconomy in the annual appropriations approved by the U.S. Congress; and

-
Working with the U.S. Congress on policies that will provide the maximum stimulus to its industry members so these companies can develop, produce, distribute, and promote the use of alternative fuels, renewable chemicals, biobased products, and sustainable aviation fuels that will create jobs, stimulate economic development, reduce environmental impacts, and benefit the districts and states represented by each member of Congress as well as the nation as a whole.
